This poor old 1966 Triumph TR6R has spent the last 35 years in a shed waiting to be brought back to life. The engine that is in it now is a 1969 or 1970 engine with unstamped cases. The numbers were not ground off. The cases are unstamped. This engine kicks over with good compression and has a Bonneville head, finned points cover and finned rocker oil feed.It would probably run without too much work. The original, matching numbers engine is out of the bike and is stuck. There is a couple of pics of this engine with most of the parts needed to complete it. It will need a complete rebuild. The pics pretty much explain everything about the bike. Some parts such as the tank, battery cover and parcell grid are just sitting in place and are not bolted on. I am selling this bike with the engine that is in it. If the winning bidder wants the original engine, i will include it for an extra $500. If the winning bidder wants the original engine and does not want the engine that is in the bike, i will remove the nonmatching engine and discount the price of the bike by $200.
