Vehicle Detail
This is the perfect city bike! My BMW F650CS is a single cylinder, so it has plenty of low end torque. It's belt driven and fuel injected so you never have to worry about oiling the chain, cleaning the carbs or trouble with starting the bike when its cold. It's got a nice low seat height and is very manageable, perfect for a first time rider or female, but has enough GO! for anyone. Here's some specs: Model:BMW F 650 CSYear:2003Category:Enduro / offroadRating:71.1 out of 100. Show full rating and compare with other bikesEngine and transmissionDisplacement:652.00 ccm (39.79 cubic inches)Engine type:Single cylinder, four-strokePower:50.00 HP (36.5 kW)) @ 6500 RPMTorque:59.70 Nm (6.1 kgf-m or 44.0 ft.lbs) @ 5000 RPMChassis, suspension, brakes and wheelsPhysical measures and capacitiesDry weight:193.0 kg (425.5 pounds)Power/weight ratio:0.2591 HP/kgSeat height:780 mm (30.7 inches) If adjustable, lowest setting.Wheelbase:1,479 mm (58.2 inches)Fuel capacity:17.30 litres (4.57 gallons)Reserve fuel capacity:4.50 litres (1.19 gallons) Here's a review of the bike: http://www.soundrider.com/archive/bikes/bmw_f650cs.htm I have upgraded this bike a bunch to be a better all around rider, here's what I've done: -Cee Bailey Aftermarket Windshield (taller than stock, makes the bike much nicer to ride at speed): http://www.ascycles.com/detail.aspx?ID=43682-Napoleon bar end mirrors (Streamlines the bike and easier to see traffic)-BMW System case center bag (Built in storage for the center "pod")-BMW Scarver Helmet Holder (Lockable helmet system)-Givi top case I bought this bike with a salvage title, all it really needed was some plastics replaced, which I did. It's now in great condition, runs perfectly, probably a 8/10 cosmetically (I'm still riding it around a bit.) All the new owner has to do is go to the DMV and get the bike looked at so they give it the OK to be on the street, all the work is already done. This bike cost $9,000 new, NADA has it going for $2,905, and KBB has it as $3,245 (if you traded it to a dealer) and $4,650 if you bought it from a dealer. I'm listing it at considerably less, one hour of hassle at the DMV and you've got yourself a great bike for cheap! I have a truck and can ship within the tri-state area for $100 extra, or work out shipping/pickup on your own.
