Great project bike that needs to be sold no reserve to the highest bidder! I ran this bike locally for a couple of years and was going to cafe' style the bike with a 3 to 1 expansion chamber along with paint and accessories. Omars' Racing sells really cool stuff for these bikes. But now found a Honda to fix up instead. I put a lot of time in this bike. Bike runs good and all electrics, lights, horn, charging, guages, starter, tranny, oil- injection and brakes work! It has a brand new battery in it. The LED gear indicater works too. Chain and sprockets are in good shape. Tires are old but have good tread. Has a black spray can enamel tank and side covers so not to be totally hideous while riding. I had the bikes in dry storage for over a year and it did take a shot of start fluid to get it to run today for the auction. So I rode it around my yard a bit. It should have fresh gas and perhaps some carb cleaning and a tune up to idle smooth. It comes with a shop manual and a new tach cable and pts/cond kit still in the packages. It has a clear Ohio title in my name. The speedo reads 16,677 and the title reads 20,106. No big deal. A parts bike with no title is included. Made in 11/72. It's engine kicks over with lots of compression. Never had it running. Tranny shifts good. No LED gear read out. Guages are frosted over so I don't know if they work. Still lots of spare parts that are useable because some of the gt550 parts aren't made anymore. This auction would make a great winter project for next years riding season. These are two-stroke three cylinder air cooled gas hogs but are a blast to ride. The exhaust sound is unlike any other and once the bike is fixed up is guaranteed to get noticed.
