1986 Honda Magna

Up for auction is a great looking, low mileage 1986 V65 Honda Magna in the very desirable Glory Red (metallic cherry red) color. This bike was actually in its time the fastest production bike made, and still has the high performance muscle that was built into it – there are no transmission issues, no smoking, no problems while running cold. Basically, it rides as smooth as silk with all that V65 power ready to kick in, no mechanical issues whatsoever. It is all original with 13,500 carefully ridden miles on it and is in beautiful condition, visually and mechanically. The bike has been garage kept and winterized each year. The battery was replaced in May of this year and the tires are fairly new, put on about 1,500 miles ago. The side panels are in perfect condition with no broken stems. On the down side - there is the usual bluing and slight rusting of the lower exhaust exchange pipes, a bit of chrome bubbling up on the rims, and some pitting on the front forks, all common to the Magnas of that time. Also, there is a barely visible scratch (half inch long) on the front fender chrome and I had to put some black paint under the gas cap to seal chipped paint on the gas tank.
