For sale is a beautiful 1985 Alfa Romeo Spider Graduate, Series 3, Aerodynamica 2000 (1962cc engine) with the 2.0 liter Bosch electronic fuel injection and manual transmission. Classically designed and coachbuilt by the famed Pininfarina Group, in Gruglaisco, Turin, Italy this car has only 74,974 original miles. It began it's American life in California in 1985, the first year of the Graduate model in North America. We moved to the Midwest in 2000, and the car has always been garaged, driven in clear weather only, and never in salt or snow. The body is rust-free and the paint looks good; no cracking, still glossy. There is one slight chip in the driver's side rear. The convertible top was replaced in 2002 and is in near-perfect condition. The wheels are original Alfa Graduate Wheels, with the original center caps. All are in good condition. The tires are in acceptable condition but when it comes time for a change, Pirelli’s would be the preferred tire. The interior is characterized by the gorgeous handcrafted mahogany wood steering wheel. 1985 is the last year in which the wood wheel was offered. The interior is in good condition. The carpet is slightly faded from age, but with no damage or wear. The seats both have minor wear and the dash has a very slight tear. The car comes with an aftermarket AM/FM radio/cassette and 6-CD changer (in trunk). The window handles, door levers, side windows, seat belts, lights, wipers, heater, sun visors and trunk release all work as they should. Mechanically the Alfa is in great shape. Starts every time. Drives beautifully. The engine is solid, and has presented no problems. We have maintained the car fully with oil changes every 3000 miles, and all necessary servicing done to the highest standards by Alfa Mechanics. We have all service records since 2000. This is a well-loved car. It breaks our heart to have to sell her, and would love her to go to a good home.
