I bought this car on ebay 3 years ago on ebay. Worked on it when I had the time and money.Ipainted the car blue it was yellow , there was slight body damage on the drivers side. I did the body work (alittle bondo) found out that is not one of my talents. I found used seats and put a headliner in. I also dyed the uncracked dash black.Its got new dash speakers and speakers in the rear also a new blauplunk stereo.I also installed a cb anntana .The console by the shifter is where a cb can be installed.You can see a wire hanging down from the windshield , it is for a radar detector . there is also a cb speaker installed by the drivers head.I cut new door cards and covered them myself (pertty ain't it).The interior was terrible when i bought it as was the rest of the car.The best part was the lack of rust.Floor pans are good as are the shock towers. Now for the mechanicals , The engine is complete , but not running right now.Needs a starter .Ihave had it running but something not quite right ? I am not a mechanic. I had a 1.6 in the car that I had help rebuilding after getting all the parts back from the machine shop , we torqued the head and cracked the block ! So I went on the hunt and found a 1.9 . According to the mechanic I bought it from it was a low milage crate motor. It looks good inside and out.It runs and idles after it is warm ,Just some adjusting i would think.Its got new motor mounts, new rubber on all right front end parts.Brakes were new a couple of years ago , have not really used them yet Rotors, drums etc.Battery is only about 6 months old.Radiator is new.I installed a 5 speed from a diesel jetta (it was a 4speed).New rear shocks and brake cables , all new glow plugs. Right and left outer tierods.I'm missing the cogg for the emergency brake to finish that.I also had the injection rebuilt a couple years ago.The car also has a new pressure plate and clutch. It needs front struts , exhaust and tires. The title has not been transfered into my name , due to the fact that I can't drive it for a DMV inspection in Ohio, The title is a Tenn. title. Should not be a problem transfering it to your name. I need to sell due to my own funding issues.The car must be trailered. Also the odometer did not work when I got the car , I fixed that and the clock. So the i don't know the mileage.
