Up for bid is a beautiful 1970 Volkswagen camper van.It is 99% rust free.I say that because I didnt find any,but there has got to be some somewhere.This van has been garaged its whole life,and has only had 3 owners that I know via paper work.It has no door dings,no shopping cart dings,as a matter of fact it doesn't have a scratch.The only thing barely visable is a couple of small dings in the bumpers.I stripped this van down to a shell,and replaced,restored,rebuilt,or bought brand new just about everything on it.The only way to describe this van is to just give a run down of everything that has been done.First I will list all the options that the van came with.Sink,Ice box,pop top.childs cot that goes across the front seats,dining table,fold down rear seat to make a double bed,coat closet,110 volt RV plug in,and bay windows.All the original cabinets are in very good condition,with the exception of a couple pieces of corner trim starting to wrinkle.The headliner is in excellent original condition,as well as the door panels and side panels.All glass and seals are in great shape as well.The sink,water pump,and ice box are in good working order.The shocks looked to have been repaced at one point,and work just fine.The steering,and front end is as tight as could be expected for a van with 122,000 miles on it.Here is the list of everything that has been done. New paint,front to back,inside and out. Rebuilt 1600 cc motor. w/2800 miles New clutch,pressure plate,and throw out bearing. New upholstered seats. New carpet. New brakes. New carb. New alternator. New starter. New exhaust. Tires are 90% New canvas top. New emblems. New kick panels. New posche style wheel covers-also comes with original covers. New door straps,and window cranks. New spare tire cover. New windshield.
