hThis is a excellent easy fix beetle. The car has been in climate controlled storage for the last several years and I do not have the time to finish it. I will start with the good, perfect running 1600dual port engine, autimatic stickshift transmission, chrome vw wheels with hubcaps, has the one piece window kit installed that eliminates the vent windows, has 0 rust underneath the car, no pan or structure rust, just a little on the fender and quarter, but will come off with a SOS pad, it is all very minor.The seates are very good, and has a new headliner installed before it was put in storage. Now for the bad, tires are not the best, but hold air, it has some flakey rust in the fuel filler neck, so I have not put any gas in the tank. I have only started it by pouring gas in the carb. Brakes worked fine when parked, but seem a little sticky now, might just be rubber brake line. Car was originally orange and now is in primer. It has 2 brand new bumpers in the plastic that go with it as well as the bumper brackets. This will be a super easy fixed car, and there is no engine work to be done, no oil leaks, perfect engine!!, body is very srtaight, no bent up places, doors are very tight, door panels are good. Please understand that you can not come get this car and drive it from my driveway on a cross country trip. With a little work cleaning the fuel tank or replacing it, checking and fixing the brakes, you can go anywhere you want. This call still has the original engine with everything intact like it came from the factory, this is not a cobbled up little car. Buyer will be very happy with it as a beetle with no rust repair is almost impossible to find! 500.00 deposit required right after the auction, rest due in 4 days!! If you have no money, bo not bid. I can deliver the car anywhere inside the 48 states for 1.25 per loaded mile.Please note that the chrome vw wheels have somw rust on them and might be cleaned up with a sos pad and the running boards were taken off to replace them and I do not have them, a new set will be needed. thanks
