Vehicle Detail

And for those people who know the difference, that's all that matters. Toyota really screwed up when they decided to turn this rig into a luxury SUV. Slip this baby into Granny Low and you'd swear you could climb a brick wall with it, or you can run down the Interstate at 65 mph if you need to. I wanted to keep it as original as possible because I like to wander off the road. Starts and runs great. Functions well as a daily driver, but truly best for off road fun where it really shows its utility. I purchased this Landcruiser in Klamath Falls, OR. The prior owner told me he purchased it out of Weed, CA, so it's not been driven in salt. He did all of the body rebuild. After I purchased it I discovered that I had an oil pressure problem which is a known common problem in the original F series engines. I had a rebuilt 1985 2F engine installed and traded out the "3 on the tree" for a rebuilt 1974-75 H42 4 speed transmission in the floor. The transfer case was also gone through and the clutch was replaced at the time. Tires are BF Goodwrench All Terrain AT 32x1150 R15LT with lots of good tread left. The interior is Rhinoed so you can wash it out with a water hose. I actually drove it across country from Oregon to SC when I moved towing a trailer all the way. The body is all original with no rust through anywhere. There are a few minor rust spots but absolutely nothing of consequence. The few spots are strictly surface, mostly at bolt holes. Otherwise there are no problems with the rig. Included are the original hard top and full doors, a bikini top, frame for a full canvas top, full canvas doors and half canvas doors. Also included but not installed are original rear seats and a rear heater. A windshield washer was added after I purchased it. This is a restored rig for the individual who wants a true classic. Not for the weak of heart, but for the outdoorsman/woman who wants to go where they want to go. I've been told by people who should know that this rig with the extra tops, doors and accessories should be worth $25,000. However, I've been trying to sell it for some time without success, so I'm going to sell it now. I have got $12,000 in it so I'm putting a Buy it Now price of $12,000 on it. However, I intend to sell it to the highest bidder this time. I've been out of work for quite a while and need cash so let's get the bidding started. Good Luck to you all. There are 61 of you watching this LC and at least 2 who have indicated that they want to come by and see it. If you have questions or want to see it, don't wait until the last minute. I'll be leaving town for the weekend at lunch time on Friday so I won't be on line when the auction closes. Grandson's birthday. If anyone wants a new best friend pay me the $12,000 or more and let's get this over with. If you do I'll contribute 10% of your payment to your favorite charity and my wife and I can pay some bills and continue to eat for a while longer.
