Pampering 101: Factory running boards facilitate a discreet entry for milady and once inside, acres of leather, real burlwood trim and power every damn thing you can think of should satisfy, however high maintenance she tends to be. Neither of you will find a single rip or tear anywhere and there's seating for eight people but if it's stuff you need haul, your Land Cruiser can do with six feet (4.6 wide) of covered and carpeted cargo area with all the rear seats removed. Those seats additionally will contort and fold so many different ways you'll probably forget how to do it the next day. The cool thing also; you can take one half of each rear seat out so that persons and fence posts may ride together in rear air conditioned decadence. Or, water skiers and their skis, which brings us to the brute part of this SUV's versatility. There's a fully wired class 3 receiver out back and with a 6,500 lb. tow rating which means Brutus can drag a fairly long boat while a bunch of folks you may or may not want tagging along, ride inside spilling soda all over the place. You say your skiing is of the snow variety? No problem; your Land Cruiser is a 4-wheel drive. A real 4-wheel drive with a real 2-speed transfer case and a locking center differential. Other take-no-prisoners overkill underneath this bad boy: a fully boxed ladder frame with 9 cross members; beefy skids plates for the front axle/transfer case/fuel tank and 10 inches of rock crawling ground clearance.
