Up for auction is my 1989 Mustang Gt,RESERVE IS $3200 I bought it bone stock about 5yrs. ago from World Ford in Pembroke Pines Fl....w/ 162k mi...now has approx 170k mi. on body, I took it off the road to build into a competiton vehicle, it does run and drive. it does have a few rust spots, nothing major- there is a spot on the hatch, and the inside lower portions of the doors, these are very common spots, the hatch does work however and does not leak water from anywhere. This car is also painted Highland Green- just like the Bullitt Mustangs- it is in need of a repaint, it still shines but has seen better days, it looks black at night which is cool, i don't know how long the paint has been on there but atleast 5yrs. Orig. paint color was red. This is a great car for someone looking for a project they can drive and build at the same time, it needs a few things, i have run out of space, $$ and time to complete it myself, and now have a baby on the way and have to give it up. All suspension, brakes and drivetrain upgrades were done by Steeda Autosports. please feel free to ask questions, im probably missing some upgrades in the description as i've invested probably $20k in this car...I have receipts/ instructions for everything i have installed and will be included to the purchaser, title is clean and clear, car has never been involved in any accidents and the frame is straight. Almost every piece and nut/bolt of this car is new, aside from the transmission, engine block, rotating assembly, and rear end housing is NEW All upgraded parts have less than 8k miles on them!! All unnecessary weight has been removed, This would also make a good candidate for a kit car engine, suspension, brakes and driveline.... Please read known issues @ bottom of page. New Black headliner, new window/lock switches, new headlight switch, new turn signal switch, new door armrest pads, all new ignition/ door lock cylinders, headlight wiring repair done. All new Trim and weatherstripping, new window motors, new door lock actuators, new cowl grille, wiper arms, new power mirrors. Newer great condition quater windows, new door strikers, 93 Cobra Tail lights, Brakes: M-2300k Cobra 5lug Brake kit, 95% left on all pads, Rotors like new, 17x9 03' Cobra chrome wheels, - stops extremely well. Sumitomo HTR 255/40/R17 Front, Sumitomo HTRZ 275/40/R17 Rear- tires approx. 80-85% tread, except PS front- disclosed in issues. Rear fenderwells clearanced for rear tire size. Disclosure of Known needs, issues, annoyances and things that bother me: Passenger front tire is going bald on outside edge and needs replaced, steering rack has bad seal and leaks from DS, and needs alignment. Needs Steering rack limiters, wheel rubs swaybar @ full turn--cheap fix about $5. Power steering hose leaking, DS Window Sticks and doesnt go down easily due to door panel fitment, rear main seal has some seapage, headlights hold some moisture. fuel door release doesn't work, but door opens fine...Door panels were custom made and dont fit well...DS Door lock switch stuck, but can be key operated, locks and shuts fine manually.Vents Missing..Map light and center console missing. Shifter bezel doesnt snap down due to Prothane engine mounts raising driveline angle, using energy suspension, solid or factory mounts will fix this. E-brake spring broke......No Fog Lights, switch and all wiring is there though....This could be made into a very nice car for a few thousand dollars--about $1000 in parts and labor, and $2500-3000 in paint/bodywork would make this car exceptional...A/C could easily be reinstalled also, as could emissions equipment.--all could be found cheaply online... Buyer is responsible for arranging pick-up of this vehicle through a transport service, or properly registering/ insuring to operate on roadways upon winning of auction...basically your on your own to have it deliverd to u or pick it up... I will also include a brand new w/ install hardware Cervini's Cobra Rear Bumper Cover and 93 Cobra Rear Wing to the winner if they are interested for FREE.
