Up for auction is a 1984 Ford LTD with 40,000 original documented miles. Title states original mileage. The cars owner was an elderly family member who can no longer drive. Title is now in my name ready to go. Car was involved in an accident in 2001. Was repaired, given an reconstructed title and has not been used much since. I have driven the car around town for about a week and will tell you it needs a little work. THE GOOD. low mileage 3.8 v6 runs good when warmed up. 3 speed auto trans works perfect 2 tires look new power windows, power seat , radio, heat, wipers, gauges, lights etc all work fine interior decent shape for its age trunk compartment looks new THE BAD. Needs to be started with starting fluid when cold. After its warm its starts fine. Has 2BBL carb. 2 tires are in fair condition. Has hole in exhaust midpipe. Muffler and tailpipe are new. Midpipe is original A/C and power locks not working. Has a few rust spots seen in pics Noticed oil spots in driveway were car is parked. Carb responce is poor. 2BBL carb needs rebuilt. I think car has alot of life left with its low mileage and easy life it has had. Just needs the right person. Located in Newark, Delaware 19702. Inspections, test drives are welcome. On Oct-28-10 at 20:50:31 PDT, seller added the following information:Had someone out today to inspect and drive car. They stated that the radiator fan shroud is missing. So I thought I'd better share the info. Needs radiator shroud.
