Vehicle Detail
I've had this bike for the last 10+ years and had planned on keeping it and riding it, but to date , that just didn't happen. I have had this bike up for auction once before , but didn't get the dollar I was hoping for, so back to storage it went. For the true gsxr fan, you know what this bike is worth, and especially in this kind of shape BONE STOCK. One of the things that make this bike unique is the race stand it comes with. Built just for the LTD's this stand sold for $300 back in 86 and damn near no one bought one just because of the cost(I can't blame them) but this bike comes with it, and the bike goes with the stand, so please don't contact me asking me to sell the stand. I turned down a thousand dollar offer just for the stand.(probably another LTD owner that missed that boat) Back to the bike, I had a letter from Suzuki stating the rarity of these bikes, but can't find it at the moment. It broke down the number of these bikes sold and roughly how many were still left in the world in STOCK trim, and after viewing detailed pictures of this bike, it was rated in the top 50 of 5000 sold to the public. The bike has 22,000 kms on it and has had nothing in the way of modifications done to it except an aftermarket "Cheeta" windshield. The paint on ths bike is in great shape , but there is some flaking of the paint on the top of the front fender just under the fork brace, total size is about half the size of a credit card. There are a coupl of light scratches on the one side from the bike falling onto some plywood(pictures will show the scratches) probably could polish out. There is also a smal dent (the size of a pencil erasor) on the side of the tank from the same insodent. The bike was stored professionally with the motor being fogged with oil until it stalled, and all float bowls drained and resealed, battery was taken out and disposed of and the gas tank was also drained and fogged with 2 stroke oil to prevent from rusting, and I will say it has worked flawlessly.I will crate this bike up for shipping(probably in a Suzuki or Ducati crate )for the buyer, and drop it a a shipper of your choice. I can also bring the bike to the boarder crossing at Osoyous BC hwy #97 if that will help .
