For Sale- This is a 1968 OLDSMOBILE CUTLASS S Convertible project. Same body and trim as a 442. The car was factory equipped with AC, Power Steering, Automatic, Power Top, and FE3 suspension (rear sway bar etc). Front brakes are manual drum.Factory color is RED with a Black interior. This was stored in a barn for the last 25 years. A good part of those the roof leaked into the interior.When I got it, the seats were gone and the floor was rusty. Included now is a rust free GM bucket seat floor pan, new carpet and correct 68 bucket seat cores and a conv. back seat.The cars frame is great and solid (fits 68-72 all A body GM GTO SS GS).I've seen good frames go for $2000-3000 alone. The cowl and windshield frame and windshield are great and solid.The rockers are solid.The top frame is still shiney black and has a good header.The doors are also rust free. The trunk floor is real good original. The red paint on the door jambs, rockers and inside of doors is the factory paint..Areas that need repaired are the rear quarter skins, lower front fenders.I do not have the front bumper or grilles.Hood has a dent on one corner.The engine and trans are the original 350 / thm 350. Engine does not run.Rolls fine for loading.I have the rear interior panels and the front inner fenders and pulleys etc. Would be a great restoration project for winter.Getting harder to find good project cars especially a factory red AC convertibles.
