2001 Silver VW Beetle turbo diesel. Leather heated seats, all-power, moonroof. Runs really well (and drives) but transmission slips frequently. This car is overall nice condition, but has some of the wear and tear that most cars do once they've been driven 200K miles. Namely, there are some small scratches in the seats and some small scratches on the dash, bumpers, etc. It is very fun to drive, and is very economical (diesel). I usually average about 35-38 mpg, but have gotten around 45-48 on multiple consecutive tanks while on a road trip. Here are the pluses: Timing belt, water pump, belts, etc and full-service performed by professional European auto mechanic less than 4000 miles ago (documented). Tires fairly new (see pictures). 80,000 mile engine put in car about 4000 miles ago (per prior owner). Everything that I am aware of works on this car unless otherwise mentioned. Here are the minuses: Transmission slips. Missing center armrest cover (see pictures). Bumpers have some paint chips, scratches, small cracked lenses on passenger rear (see picture) and sticker glue (included is a separate "used" rear bumper that is in much better condition). Paint chip in driver's rear fender. Missing rear passenger hubcap. Driver's heated seat not working. Missing engine cover (not a necessary part). Battery lid hinges cracked. Small "crows foot" crack in the passenger side of windshield (about 6-8 inches long), does not obscure vision. Temperature light occasionally comes on in dash (unable to diagnose this so far). Check engine light comes on (mechanic verified "check airflow sensor") Radio replaced and appears slightly different shade than surrounding dashboard. No mats. Drivers side seat belt cover missing (seat belt light stays on).
