SEE LINK BELOW FOR MORE PICTURES!!!!!! The reserve on it is for $300 ONLY because someone has offered to pay us that if it does not sell! Please bid more! :) Our neighborhood is enforcing no parking overnight where this vehicle is currently stuck. It starts next week so you MUST be able to show up ASAP after the auction ends to pick up the car. The title will be in hand. PLEASE bring CASH, or we can exchange paypal info and you can pay me there (ebay won't let me use paypal in this listing I guess because it's a car). Thank you. You are bidding on a 1993 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Convertible Coupe with 151K miles. It has a 3.4 L V6 engine and a brand new sleek convertible top. The body is blue, the top is black. Leather (or vinyl? can't really tell which) seats. See pictures to decide for yourself. Rated a 4.2 out of 5 in reliability and I believe it because it has been a great car for us! The age of it though has unfortunately caused some things that are too great for our budget to cover. Hopefully a fixer-upper, or someone willing to get it to a mechanic will take pride in this could-be beauty! AS IS. This is still a fixable car, the engine still runs, but the maintenance costs are getting far too high for us at this point. This is my boyfriend's car and has done it's time for us. I am about to purchase my own car and we usually only need one car to get us around so we have decided to stop putting money into it and get some out of it for once. We would really like to get as much as possible out of it because we are college students and cannot really afford another car for him at this point. (Especially if we can't sell this one for much). So hopefully there’s a generous person out there ready to have a great fix-up car! KBB quotes a fair condition model of this car at $1500. It has at least $600 in new parts and I believe it is between fair and poor condition- So I'd say it's at least worth $1000! We hope you agree! Here's what's wrong with it: About 3 weeks ago, the undercarriage/engine/whatever decided to fall out 30 seconds away from our home- It didn't fall completely out, it was just 3 inches from the ground. It appears to be missing one of the bolts (there are two round things that were bolted to the car- see pictures- and one is missing a bolt) and the other bolt fell out. My dad came over the other day and managed to get the engine back into it's correct position and it is bolted back in. Will still need a second bolt. The engine is still in excellent running condition, but after putting it back up, it has an additional "airy" sound to it that is not usually there. We are thinking it is probably some sort of loose hose. The fall also damaged the steering. The steering wheel rotates around and around and does not turn the wheels so we believe that to be broken. It will also need alignment because the wheels are just barely pointing in opposite directions. See pictures. BUT it is easily fixable if you can get it towed to a mechanic I'm sure, we are just sick of messing with it. , as you can still turn on the car and have it run. Once you fix the alignment and the steering wheel, it will run great. If that was not possible to do, it would also resell well for parts because it has a lot of parts that are in great condition and at least $600 in brand new parts!! Here's the good: -Top is practically brand new, 2 years old - $400 -Just got a new radiator a month ago - $150 -A new starter was put in in May - $150 -Brake line flushed 6 months ago -Front two tires have lots of tread (don’t remember when those were purchased though) -Seats are all in great condition, no rips -pioneer cd player Bad: -needs steering fixed -needs alignment -May have a power steering leak, we were having to fill that up often before it broke, but couldn’t afford to check it out -driver’s side rear window does not work -convertible top seems sluggish -A/C does not work- comes out at your feet gently no matter what setting you put it on (so doesn’t full blast and won’t change to upper vents) -not sure if the cruise control works (he never uses it anyways so he can't tell you) (below is all cosmetic:) -Back bumper has faded paint -Dent in rear -Missing blinker light -Chipped rubber -The armrest leather is cracked -A little dirt between nooks and crannies inside the car You will need a tow truck to take it away since the steering does not work and you must provide the cost for this as well. MORE PICTURES are here: (and I believe I made sure to include pictures of all known damages for your benefit! I'm an honest person here) http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2063118&id=1126530120&l=6e0ee452b3 PLEASE NOTE: Pictures of the fallen undercarriage/whatever are what it looked like when it happened. My dad has since fixed that so now all that needs fixing is what was previously broken (a/c, etc) and damaged in the fall (steering, etc.) Went to a dealer and told him the situation- he said it would be worth fixing because this is just a baby and this car should last up to 250000 Miles EASY! Please email me if you have questions!! Happy Bidding! On Oct-20-10 at 11:41:50 PDT, seller added the following information: PLEASE DON'T FORGET TO READ THE DESCRIPTION BEFORE BIDDING! :) (Don't want anyone buying, then coming over here thinking this car is drive-able! You must get a tow truck!- It is fixable though and then will be a great car!)On Oct-20-10 at 19:48:11 PDT, seller added the following information: I thought this was in the ad, but apparently not- I'm very sorry I forgot to mention it, as I try to mention everything that's wrong to my knowledge so the buyer is happy. There is a small oil leak in this car as well, but alot of older cars tend to have those, so I'm sure it's no big deal. It has not caused a problem for us as long as we have driven it, just have to put about a quart in every month (which is actually pretty normal, according to this website: http://hubpages.com/hub/How-often-to-check-your-cars-oil " Your average vehicle holds only about four quarts of oil and the average used car burns about one quart of oil a month with normal use. With that being said, if you use your car less it will burn less and use it more and it will burn more.") Thanks
