Vehicle Detail
This 1940 Ford deluxe Coupe is a all steel car from Georgia. Recent Paint in night watch blue makes this a very attractive car. This was built as a restro rod with all parts. The 302 motor was built by someone else and claims to have all the best components and I was told it was a 400 horse motor. 79 Mustang2 front end 79 Lincoln 9" rear end, Four wheel discbrakes, Ford C5 automatic trans with lokar restro fit shifter. just came back from the trans shop and all is fine. The car is slammed and has a awsome stance! it has street slicks on it now. the rear end was tubed 3 to 5 " the mufflers are handmade and has a great sound to them. We left all the racing decals on it that dates back to the 60's. it has a three louvered hood with no rippling.... A rarity. The tach or speedomteter isn't hooked up. The frame wasn't butchered and it rides and drives nice!! On Oct-21-10 at 05:55:19 PDT, seller added the following information: This 1940 Ford deluxe Coupe is a all steel car from Georgia. The frame wasn't butchered and it rides and drives nice!! as you can see in the pictures the cars undercarriage is very solid but not a show car is is just sprayed black some pots where the car has scraped the ground due to its stance and high driveways no rot or major rust a little surface rust but this car is a cruiser. It is not an ISCA show winner but will do well at your local car show For any questions feel free to ask Good luck bidding. The car is a michigan title car and has been for over 10 years It passes a michigan state road test to be a titled and insured vehicle. The car dose have a michigan title allthough I can not find the vin tag on the vehicle. I can get a new one if need be before the car is shipped or picked up or if bought locally can go to secretary state with you to apply. Not a big deal just takes about 2 weeks. thanks and good luck bidding.
