Vehicle Detail
Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 1970 MG Arkley SS I have an antiquity company in the middle of Texas. We specialize in fine antiques and collectibles. Once in a while my customers turn in a classic automobile or motorcycle. This is one of those items: We received this beautiful MG Arkley from an estate of an older gentleman who had an MG repair shop. The Arkley is a left handed drive. This Arkley was his personal collector car that he stored at his shop. The Arkley is set up on a 1970 MG Midget frame with a Webber carburetor, headers, transmission cooler, and special exhaust system with a beautiful sound. The Arkley runs and drives very strong. It has a four cylinder engine with a four speed transmission. The car is extremely fast. We just sent it out for a complete paint job which is British Racing Green. Everything works fantastically on the car. The car comes with a clear Texas title. The car is missing the convertible top and a signal switch. The car comes with a clear Texas title. Due to the economic situation, it has been priced very reasonably. Please, please, please be sure that you have the money to purchase the car if you are bidding. Remember that this little car is 40 years old. Please remember that things always look better in pictures. So you are more than welcome to come see it in person, and if you are not sure, please don’t bid. I’m into antiquities and I don’t know that much about automobiles in detail. Please come and check it as I am expressing how I see the vehicle. Your bid is your contract. Please place bids only if you are serious about buying the item. If you are the winning bid, you are entering into a legal binding contract to purchase the item. We require a $500 non-refundable deposit immediately after the bidding closes, and the remaining balance within a week. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. All of this being said please take a look at the pictures and ask any questions you may have. Or come by and check it out in person before you bid. The truck will be sold as is, with no warranty or guarantee. For pricing regarding classical automobiles you can refer to www.nadaguides.com We reserve the right to cancel any bid for excessive negative feedback. And I may also advertise it locally. Good luck and have fun. On Oct-22-10 at 15:53:26 PDT, seller added the following information: Sorry. The car is a right hand drive. I got confused when I posted it. Sorry for the inconvenience.
