Vehicle Detail

1959 Chevrolet Apache Fleetside I am selling most of my project cars. I simply do not have enough time and due to a recent back injury, I seriously doubt I can continue my hobby as in years past, so I must sell them. So I pulled out all of my projects from the barns and on ebay they are going.... This is the last project I bought before I blew out my back. I bought it from a ex-GM mechanic. He assured me it was a really good body, minimal rust, project truck. I was very pleased when it arrived to my shop. It was the big window Fleetside Apache! Nice body! When he said minimal rust, he was serious. The fenders, hood, doors box and most of the the truck was rust free. There were a couple of spots that rust was starting or began to eat a hole, but over all I would rate this truck a 98% rust free and a solid "A" body. We all know how hard it is to find solid bodies these days. This is not a bondo queen either. I did take 19 plus pictures. I did upgrade the ad to have the zoom feature so please take your time and look over all the pictures. The bed is loaded up with parts. The truck comes with all the glass (windshield, sides and the rare big rear window), steering column, bumpers, dash components, hinges, and other misc parts. The truck does not have motor or trans. The windshield did have an inspection sticker from late 90's(?) issued from NC and the title is NC. The ruck is really clean. the under carriage, front suspension, firewall, are all super clean. It leads me to beleive it was a real low mileage truck. The truck probably came out of a barn in the Peidmont area of NC, so that means no salt, low rust! Carolina truck thru and thru. The title is in hand. I really don't know what else to say. It was my last purchased project. I never got to it, so I don't have a lot of info for you all. If you email me specific questions, or need specific pictures taken I will do my best to comply. Now I have been an ebay memebr for nearly a decade. I had 100% feedback until two weeks ago. I have about finished selling a my complete life long aquired collection of cars. Some trailer queens, others projects, others picked over part cars. I had aMexican guy from California buy a car who could understand english when it came to "Bill of Sale" for a parts car. I tried and tried to explain. The bone head left negative feedback. Then the last one is a guy who bought a 62 conv project. It had 24 pictures. He knew what he was getting. He was pissed because there was rust. I guess he wanted a 60K car, for 6K?? The point being is I am a reasonable man. I would like to have reasonable buyers. I will do my best to answer all your questions. If you are not satified with the answer don't bid. Otherwise, I will do my best to describe and photograph the truck for you and your questions. Thank you. No buy it now. Some lucky guy is going to get an awesome project. Now for the legal stuff....ONLY SERIOUS bidders. If you have bad feedback, don't bid, I will cancel your bid. An immediate non-refundable deposit of $1,000 is due at the end of the auction , NO EXCEPTION. The balance due within 3 days, NO EXCEPTION. It may be easier to just pay all at once immediately, but I will leave that up to the buyer. Those who do not comply will be reported to ebay. This is not a game. I have sold a lot of my car collection already. almost every buyer paid LATE and it is starting to torque me off. SO IF YOU CAN'T FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS OF MY AUCTION, DON'T BID!! The last buyer actually was a weenie and his wife told him he couldn't have it. So if you don't have your woman in check or your manhood intact, DON'T BID. Now, I am willing to store the car for up to a two weeks, then a $2.00 a day storage fee applies. I am nice guy with PERFECT FEEDBACK, and I like dealing with responsible ebayers! :) Good Luck and happy bidding!!
