2001 Honda Civic EX SedanVTEC engine, 5-speed manual transmission Power everything including moonroof Detailed Description I'm selling my 2001 Honda Civic EX sedan. It is fully loaded and is very reliable. I used the car for daily commutes between New Jersey and Connecticut. Now that my wife and I have finally moved to Connecticut, we can afford to buy something bigger and better. The car has 219,xxx highway miles and has served us very well and shows no signs of tiring. ISSUES WITH THE CAR: The car will need some new tires in the near future, so figure out how much it will cost you to change those as this has already been figured into my asking price. The driver's side mirror isn't working, although the passenger side is. I can still move the mirror manually so I never bothered fixing it. After all, how often do you really adjust it? The fabric on the driver's side sun visor is torn as pictured below The emergency brake handle is a little chewed up at the very top as pictured below. It works fine so I never bothered to fix it. In fact I bought it that way. On the driver's side inner door panel, there is a small crack in the top of the plastic by the lock as pictured below The rear bumper was hit by something in a parking lot as pictured below. Whatever it was, it was low and scratched it up pretty good. There is NO structural damage to the bumper, just some ugly scratches to the bumper outer cover Last winter, my wife slid into a snow pile and scraped the back passenger side of the car, by the rear window. It wasn't anything major (just cosmetic) but I paid out of pocket to have it professionally fixed and repainted. You probably cannot tell unless you are in the auto body business and look at it up close The gas door doesn't lock closed. If you look at it, it just needs a new plastic "catch" piece from the dealer. I didn't really bother me so I never did anything about it. Other than that the car needs nothing. I don't want any surprises when you come to pick up the car so I am being up front about what is "wrong" with the car. I would say these are very negligible problems which you may never do anything about aside from buying some nerw tires. Ther are no leaks, no rust, and it drives great. No grinds in the transmission and no funny noises from the engine. This car has never been modified. The car has been very well maintained and kept clean. It has some very decent pep to it for such an efficient engine. The car has a clean NJ title. It is a very dependable car. Moonroof operation is shown below in the pics (closed, up, and fully open). If there are any questions you may have, feel free to ask. You will be VERY happy with this car. IF you really want the car shipped, I don't mind helping you, but if you do plan on having me ship the car, the money will have to be up front.
