Vehicle Detail

1958 Ford Fairlane VICTORIA** RARE Club Coupe / 2-Door Hardtop ** A Fairlane Club Victoria (Tudor Hardtop) Documented 2 owners with only 88,000 actual low miles The Victoria Hardtop Coupe had one of the lowest production numbers of only 16,416 made, next to the Skyliner production of 14,713. There were 38,366 2-dr Fairlane base Club Sedans made; and over 118,000 of the Fairlane 500 models in the 2 door. Want a rare & solid original condition 2-door car with classic styling … this is it! This styling option was for only the 1958 Victoria Fairlane, with 2-toned color, is one of the rarest and most sought after models. The 500 series has different trim & styling. This rare model was one of the most expensive trim packages available, almost the same base level cost of the 500 series. Trim moldings of the Victoria Hardtop Coupe (not-500 line) with the 2 tone color & inset side panels give this classic model the same classic look and styling of the 1956 through 1961 Chevrolet Corvettes. This model also comes with some really great roof ridge lines over the whole top panel... hard to see in photos but they do look really cool on this model... Solid & original condition Fairlane Club VICTORIA Tudor Coupe. VEHICLE HISTORY:This car was made in the San Jose plant of CA. It started out as a California car and was bought by original owner to WA State. It had always been garaged. This car was transferred in 1990’s to family friend. This car has since been in dry eastern WA storage, started & taken out for a run several times every year. Odometer presently reads at 87,899. All receipts and original owners records included. All original interior in overall good condition (front seat panel has minor small tear on passenger side but seats overall very good condition as shown) The original plastic seat covers were kept on the car until removed by the second owner. Original head liner, door panels, dash, etc ...all good. Headlights, taillights, turn signals, wipers, dash lights all work great & even the AM radio plays loud & crystal clear. Note the shiny chrome on the bumpers and perfect shiny grill. I added a night photo to show how cool the dash lights look when they are on. It was recently taken on a 3.5 hour road trip over the mountains from Eastern Washington to Seattle and on a 2 hour round trip to a car show. This is a great driving car that is smooth on the road and is ready to be driven anywhere... Look in trunk and typical door areas, etc. This is solid & rust free, not a typical 58 Ford. Rare survivor: Ford collector clubs are saying this is a hard to find and year car due to the common rust issues of the 1958 Fords**. Original owner did have a minor shop repairs professionally over the front headlights, as water will kick up into these areas from normal driving conditions. There are some minor paint & blemishes that have never been touched, as this is an original condition & paint car. (there are also fender screws that show car may have had front fender mirrors as add on or option?) Please see photos from underneath, doors, trunk, etc. (Note that the trunk photos show colorations mostly from the glue on the trunk pan from the old trunk mat that was removed) The trunk and floor pans are very solid..no holes..no rust through anywhere! The steel body has been magnet checked with no sign of having panels replaced or repaired. This car is an original condition survivor! **TAKEN FROM A WEBSITE: Excepting the occasional Skyliner, the distinctive but rust-prone 1958 Fairlanes are uncommon today. The '59s have seemingly fared better. A nicely turned-out 1958-59 Fairlane is sure to attract admirers at any Ford gathering. All custom new dual exhaust, chrome tipped with flow masters mufflers; a great throaty V8 sounding exhaust system recently installed by 2nd owner at Walts Muffler Shop. Newer radial tires & all new professionally installed brakes. New radiator, battery, belts & hoses, etc. Prior owner had installed the chrome valve covers and air cleaner with K&N free flow style air filter. Original air cleaner, valve covers, old replaced parts, trunk tire chains, jack & spare tire all still with car. This car also has the factory tinted windows, an option, in excellent original condition. This style looks great, like a low rider, when the optional fender skirts for the Ford, or 57 Mercury skirts, are added. I have also included a photo of a show stopper Fairlane Victoria, the same color & model of this Ford, that was shaved and lowered, made into a very high end show car ( this last photo added for show only & is not this car) This is a very solid and original condition car to either keep original, or the type of car you could easily restore without much investment. This car is equipped with a V8: Ford 292 engine ENGINE SPECS: Cast-Iron Y-block, Overhead valve design,5 Main bearings 292 cubic inch displacement / Compression rato: 9.1:1 205 brake horsepower @ 4500 rpm Bore: 3.75 Stroke: 3.30 inches / Holley two-barrel carburetor This car has the Cruise-O-Matic 3 speed AT; automatic transmission with a 3.10 axle ratio according to Data Plate informations. Data plate also shows car made 1/13/58, with turquoise interior and painted exterior of Azure Blue / Colonial White (2-toned) ...Please bid with confidence as I have sold numerous collector cars for myself and friends online with great feedback from many happy buyers. I do maintain a very good ebay rating. Terms of Sale: This is a private party sale sold as shown and without any seller or dealer warranty. It is a vintage car sold as is and as honestly described.
