Vehicle Detail

This is a great wagon with every power feature. We've had it for 10 or 12 years. We are selling it only because our two German Shepherds found another one they liked even better -- a Buick Roadmaster wagon. It's the only wagon that has more room in it than the Volvo. (Sure drinks more gas, though.) Tires are premium quality and near new. Inside is good. All power equipment, including seat warmers, offered by Volvo on the 760. I only know the functions normally used by a driver -- power seats, windows, radio antenna, air conditioning and such. Everything else used to work and probably still does. Seats are good. Outside is good, too. Only one light scratch under the gas filler cap and the very bottom of the left tail light broken -- but still perfectly legal. Also the clear coating is coming off the roof and the hood. Heck, I was just going to wait another year or two till it all fell off -- then have it clear-coated again. You may not want to; I have no idea of why it was clear-coated in the first place. Looks just fine without it. It has 212,500 miles on it, and I think it could double that easily. I can't see rust anywhere -- those Swedes sure knew how to build cars. We have always kept the car up at the best shop in town. In past two years, had heater and air conditioner rebuilt; should last a long, long time. In 12 years -- oh, I shudder to think. But it's a great car. Oh, I almost forgot: One of the rear seats got jammed just recently in the upright position, and I can't free it. My husband is in no condition to try, and I don't have the time to take it back to the shop. Double oops -- this car had the hood slightly bent a few years ago by a careless mechanic and the insurance company offered to put this under a salvage title. And yes, I have proof of that. The hood, by the way, straightened itself out. Can't tell the difference any more. Cars do fix themselves. Well, some do. This is not a new car by any means -- but it sure will make somone a great buy. Happy Bidding!
