'83 Ford Thunderbird Heritage Edition 302 V-8 Leather Seating w/Dual Power Power Windows, Locks, Mirrors Cruise and Tilt Wheel Am/Fm Cassette Premium Sound 53,290 actual miles 1 owner Tulsa, Okla., until 2006. the car has been serviced, a/c charged, brakes and exhaust checked and all is well, this car drives very nicely, does not rattle, squeak, or shimmy. The car brakes straight and steers easily and correctly. The tires are well above 50% tread and are balanced correctly. Drives down the highway like a new one!! The Heritage package had special leather seats, console, electronic dash with voice warnings, remote trunk and gas lid release, and of course the biggie was the 302 V8 EFI Engine that was shared with the Mustangs of that year The auto check history report shows 4 owners, that is not correct, the title issued in 2006 was to an Arkansas Dealership that handled Classic Cars, it was then sold to another Dealer in Rogers, Ar. the second owner was in Lavaca, the titles to dealers are not considered owners. it is a 2 owner car. thank you flaws: the radio has an electrical draw,(I think it is in the clock)it does not affect the battery unless it is not started daily, with the radio fuse removed it does not drain the battery while sitting idle. the fuel gauge is sporatic. We replaced the fuel tank and fuel pump with correct units, due to old gas that had contaminated the original fuel tank while the car was in storage. Since then the guage does not always register, I can't figure this one out because sometimes it is fine and then it quits? The car has had some touch up paint work sometime in its life, does not show evidence of any body damage, very clean underneath and all. It is 37 years old and overall the paint is nice but not completely original.
