1964.5 Ford Mustang V8 289 Cut-Coupe Convertible California Car Good Driver - Low Reserve This is a 1964.5 Mustang Cut-Coupe Convertible V8 289 that can be used as a driver. The car is in teal blue with pony interior and is presentable as it is. The car has a V8 289 motor (D Code, 07 body code) with automatic transmission and the car runs and drives very well. It has power brakes, power steering and manual top. It is a California car and the body is fairly clean and rust free. (This was originally a coupe and the car was made into convertible and the work is of good quality all around). There is a repair patch on the driver side floor pans and it is good quality job. Trunk area including the gas tank is very clean and rust free. Paint is showing age with fading, chips and scratches. Latches on the convertible top and engine hood, and trunk lock need some attention. Mechanics of the car are in very good condition. Engine starts easily and runs very strong. Transmission shifts smoothly. Car runs and drives like a true classic sports car.
