Vehicle Detail
For sale is my 1965 Chevy C-10 short wheel base stepside truck. Truck is super clean top to bottom and also the underside as in pictures. Just about everything on this truck is new. L have upgraded guages, but do have original that work if that is more to your taste. For comfort, there is an Old Air Products system with a/c, heat, and defrost. In one of the pictures, there can be seen a thermometer stuck in one of the center vents reading 35 degrees. Outside temp at the time was in the 90's. Air conditioner works extremely well as do the heat and defrost. For dependability, truck has fresh rebuilt Chevy 350 engine hooked to a fresh rebuilt 700R4 overdrive transmission. The rear end is a rebuilt positive traction with 3.73 ratio gears. The front spindles are from a 1975 truck to have disc brakes and 5 lug pattern. The rear axles and drums have been swapped out to matching 5 lug pattern. Truck is completely rewired with an American Autowire wiring harness. In the restoration, truck was completely dissassembled frame off and all parts were renewed or replaced. Truck drives and runs great. The overdrive matched to the 3.73 rear end works out really well. Good acceleration with a low cruise RPM. Truck is ready and able to show, cruise, or go cross country with confidence. Here is a list of most of the new parts. Invoices, which I do have, will add up to over $20,000. 350 rebuilt engine, engine dress up kit, Weiland intake, Hedman headers, Holley 600cfm 4 barrel carb, HEI electronic ignition, water pump, power steering pump, fuel pump, radiator, fan shroud, wiper blades, washer pump & resevoir, radiator & heater hoses, master cylinder, brake booster, starter, 700R4 rebuilt trans, B&M shifter, Auto Meter guages, dome light, courtesy lights, gas tank & cover, gas cap, mirrors, one piece rubber floor mat with sound deadning, seat belts, reupholstered seat, steering wheel, ignition switch, headlight switch, turn signal switch, dimmer switch, American Autowire harness, head and tail lights, exterior rubber kit, door sill plates, floor pan, outer rocker panels, window tracks and rollers, shocks, springs, all bushings shims and spacers for upper and lower control arms, idler arm, power sterring gear, tie rod ends, ball joints, brake calipers and pads, universal joints, wheel cylinders, control arm bushings, 3.73 ring gear and pinion, axle bearings and seals, tires, rear axles and drums, front parking lights, alternator, battery and cables, headlight bezels, grill, cab mount bushing set, side pipes and the Old Air a/c system I know there are some parts I left off the list, but I think you get the picture. This is as new a 1965 Chevy as you can get. I know with the economy like it is, I'm probably going to lose money on this one, but I need to sell. Already have another project in my shop. There is no title for truck as Georgia does not issue a title for vehicles over 25 years old. You get a bill of sale and my Georgia registration which you can take and get a title from your state if they issue one for older vehicles. Have done this many times with people from out of state and have had no problems with them getting a title in their state if available. If you have any questions on this, contact your local tag office. Thanks for looking at my truck.
