Vehicle Detail

Up for bid is an absolutely clean and 100% rust free 75 VW camper van.It is the Riviera pop top style. This van is almost mint condition in every way.It has 108K miles on it,and it runs and drives perfect. The body is almost perfect, with new paint, and the interior is is pretty much unused as a camper van.The cabinets are all original, along with the fridge/ice box, which looks unused. The front seats have been redone, with new carpet front and back. The head liner, dash, trim, door latches, and butcher block style counter tops and table top are still like new.The tires are at 90%,and It has new brakes all around. The carb was rebuilt, with a fresh tuneup. This van has spent its whole life in Arizona, and garaged for most of that time. There is some sun fading on a couple of the curtains.I dont know much else to say about it,other than they dont come much nicer than this one. Please feel free to ask any questions you can think of,but please ask prior to bidding.A winning bid is a contract to buy,so please only bid to win.Thank you.On Oct-12-10 at 01:00:28 PDT, seller added the following information: Hello again, and thank you for all the questions I have received on this van.I would like to answer some pretty obvious questions that have been asked, that I left out on the description. This van sleeps four adults, with the childs cot that goes over the front of the bucket seats. So in other words,2 adults can sleep in the pop top area, and 2 adults can sleep in the back seat area where it folds down into the bed.I will add more pics tomorrow of the pop top,and the chiilds cot that stretches over the front seats. It does have the 110 volt shore power plug for RV camping. The Ice box is just that.It is not a fridge. That was not an option until 1976.It is like a cooler, with a drain for the ice area.Once again I will add pics of that.I will also take a picture of the floor area where most of these vans rust.It is rust freeee. It has the 2.0 litre porsche style motor carbuerated, not the fuel injeciton system that VW came out with a year later. They put those fuely systems on the 76-82 motors, and had nothing but trouble with them. This van has no problems starting in the cold or the heat, like the first versions of the fuel injection systems did.It has never been in an accident, nor has ever even had a shopping cart touch it.The 2 cup coffee holder is original as well.It simply pops out of its mounting bracket, and tucks away under the passenger seat. There the original jack sits untouched. It has the original AM radio that is not working, and I have not looked in to that, because I know nothing of radios. It does have 2 speakers that were mounted under the passenger seat in the rear, and I know that was not original. I have been asked countless times how much my reserve is,and I will answer that question now.I am removing the reserve, and let the person who bids the most own it.As of right now the bid is at 5100.00,after that, the high bidder wins.Ebay wont allow me to remove the reserve, because there is already bids.I encourage anyone who is interested in owning one of these vans to come and look at this one in person, and take it for a spin.I know you wont be disappointed.Thanx.
