Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a 1969 DODGE CORONET SUPERBEE /W A 383 4 BARREL MAGNUM engine. This car has great potential for restoration. There is a lot of rust on the car, but all of the parts can be purchased to rebuild it (along with some elbow grease). The # s match on this car ,but the trany was replased once. The front end got damaged in an accident, thats why it's a different color and a different hood which is fiber glass with both windshield corners broke off. Minor repairs will be needed. We got these parts from another coronet that had rear end damage. This is when we stopped driving the car because we got another car.The car ran when we parked it back in Nov./1981 ,but we borrowed a couple parts from it to use on a friends car(hoses, breather cap, etc.).The engine will probably need an overhaul since it hasn't been started for over 30 yrs. The rear frame rails will need replased along with the froor pans(front & rear) and trunk pan.All have major rust(adealsap has both these items listed on his site(he might not have rear rails) along with rear quarter panels)or you can look else where for parts. I'm selling now because I got hurt working and won't be able to restore it myself. I've tried to show all the rust and damage ,but there could be more. Everything worked when I parked the car ,but that was a long time ago( wires come loose and get broken, etc.) I've put all extra parts in the trunk(original steering wheel, jacks, rear tail lights, front headlight trim). Needs total exhaust system. Seats and headliner will need replaced along with top of dash and back window deck. Doors have openings for speakers that went bad There may be other flaws that aren't listed ,so look at pictures real good(inside, outside, and underneath). This car was a tough runner before the accident and can be again in the right hands. The tires were tires I got just to get it roled out of garage(the original tire were dry rotted) This car was originally light green, but was painted dark because my wife didn't like it light green! This car isn't for the faint of heart, it need a lot of tender loving care so you can be very proud of it and you will be I'm sure if you enjoy power. It did have plenty. Sold as is So please bid only if you are serious and enjoy muscle cars. I take my selling here seriously, I'll answer all questions to the best of my ability. I don't guarantee anything, but that if you buy and restore this BEE you will have a car to be very proud of. I'm sure someone has everything you'll need to restore it. Enjoy yourself looking and please only bid if you are serious. Wife doesn,t want it in the garage taking up space anymore. Check pictures and bid accordingly.
