Vehicle Detail

NO RESERVE Over $45,000 to build and Isn't She a beauty. Well Not to Brag. This car just flat catches EVERY EYE. No matter where you go. Its like no-one can put a finger on what it is and why no-one else has one. Its a true 1-OFF... Moving on to other Projects. Like New -1970 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia. This car was professionally built by 2 Brothers who work in paint and Body. The car started from bare metal and every piece was new or like new after all the cleaning and assembly. The car took approximately 5+ years to build on our spare time. Dodge Viper Blue and Chevy White are the colors. Car sits most of the year in storage due to larger family than when building car. Car has very comfortable Honda Prelude seats and is very up to speed with a 220 HP Rotary 13B modified and running very clean. All the wiring was complete and built with more options and fuse panels for all the extra stuff. It looks a little messy up front , but with a few minutes of unplugging and rerouting the wires, you could have it nice and clean. The car needs some small finish parts. Parking Brake cover - Mirror Rubbers cracked and fell off out-side mirrors - Wind shield Wiper fluid cap - Shift Lever Cover - Wax and Detail - For longer trips it needs an inline Water Pump for getting the water from front to back of the car easier and quicker. They is plenty of places to mount it. The best one I found was Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 http://www.hrpworld.com/index.cfm?tpc=EWP_Electric_Water_Pump_Kits&form_cat_id=1195&action=category Featured Parts- Volkswagen Transform Tranny- with heavy duty build and Racing First Gear Adapter Plate for 13b Mazda Rotary motor - Very simple clean and efficient motor swap. 2 Harley Davidson Flat slide Pumper Carbs with intake manifold - Carbs work so good its awesome, Very clean running and superb throttle response. Zero Backfire Sewfine Fabric kit- Clean and simple. Headliner is perfectly fitted to ceiling Tinted Glass / Rubber Undercoat / New Steering Everything / Centerline custom wheels / Black and White powder-coated Parts such as Door trim and air louvers / 3 mufflers and One external custom exhaust pipe / Radiator in front with Special louver for air guide / Oil cooler in back mounted to Deck Lid. Paint was done excellently, No ripples, Very Clean looking, All parts line up very good from every angle. Stereo is perfect for the car. Two 10" woofers and 2 amps, with flip out and remote CD player. Clear and Great sound quality. 2 small seat belts Car Review- Starts and works very dependable. Catches almost every eye. Sounds very throaty and unique. Revs out to 9,500 rpm's. Tons of comments. Great for beach, "Surf Rack needed", fun cruising, or zipping down to the store or to a drive in theater. Car will be a great purchase. No problems with car other than the needed in line electric water pump for longer than 20 min trips. Adding an A/C unit would be fairly simple. Car has no alarm. I have 3 video's on www.youtube.com for it. Type "nost4you" or "Karmann Ghia Bad ass". The motor Only has 2900 miles on it from its restoration. I had a top Rotary Tuner do some mild port work and replaced apex seals, Gaskets and any part that it needed to be perfect. All the parts that were replaced were brand new (Such as Apex Seals). Motor should last a very long time with 100% reliability. The wiring, like I said was my last adventure that I never felt inclined to complete. All of the wires are new. I however got everything plugged in and working perfectly and never desired to go back and re-route (up in the front compartment) and unplug the wires to make them all show quality. I did say if you want to show the car. The only things left to fix are cleaning up wireing with some time to straighten and organize them. And some carpet maybe some paint under the hood and deck lid. Believe me. It doesn't take much to get this car to stand out. It is a really great combo of colors and style. Of coarse it is not stock. It is in my opinion better than stock with some new perspectives for Karmann Ghias. Some people may want to stick with traditional stock. This car is not for those people. Thank you For checking it out On Oct-08-10 at 09:59:45 PDT, seller added the following information: Except. It still gets the same attention from the Ghia world. It holds its Ghia look and just has a very clean and intense look about it. On Oct-09-10 at 14:34:29 PDT, seller added the following information: Ultimate features that make this car better than your average Ghia Better Suspension System (Ohlins rear Shocks) Strong Transmission Lightweight 220HP Reliable easy to access motor NO RUST anywhere Comfortable Seating and Stereo that is very Cozy, yet still Simple.
