1996 GMC 1500 SLE Z71 1996 GMC pickup, 2-door extended cab, burgundy in color, a result of a subsequent forfeiture. This vehicle is a 1996 GMC 1500 SLE extended cab Z71 off road pickup with the odometer showing 162,159 miles, however, we have no way of knowing its accuracy. This vehicle has a 5.0 liter V8 engine with automatic transmission and four wheel drive. This vehicle is equipped with power mirrors, power locks, power windows, cruise control, and air conditioning, however, the air conditioning does not work. There is an after market Pioneer stereo. The body is in good condition and the tires are half worn. The vehicle has AstroStart, however, it needs a battery. The radiator leaks some. The motor in this vehicle runs good and was started and driven on 10-6-2010. The past maintenance and repair history of this vehicle is unknown and it is being sold as is. This vehicle was seized in an investigation which resulted in the subsequent forfeiture from a DWI in November of 2009. When the vehicle was confiscated, it was being driven on the public streets and mechanically running. The title is registered to the Alexandria Police Department, is cleared and ready for new owner transfer. PLEASE NOTE: This vehicle does not have current registration and there are no license plates on the vehicle. If you plan to drive the vehicle from our lot, you will need to purchase plates and current registration tabs.
