I recently purchased this car from a friend who was moving out of town and could not take the car. He had the restoration 85% complete with only the parts of the interior to repair and clean up. The seats and apolstery are in good shape with no tears or blemishes and he has purchase new guages(oil,fuel,temp, and amps), and has the owners manual along with a shop manual and parts catalogs. This is a good quality driver the engine runs strong and I just had the Ford-o-matic transsmission rebuilt last month. The exterior paint was redone in 2005 and had minor scratches in the clear coat but not down to the metal, and the Lanau top is in excellent condition. He has the back-up lights to install and an original side mirror as well. The odometer does not work and it shows 39200 but that is not verifiable. The original 390 V8 engine was replaced with another 390 engine around 2004, original engine blew a rod and had to be replaced. The iterior is all original and will be easy to complete the restoration. This was a weekend driver for my friend and will make a nice cruise night car for its new owner.
