This is a 2006 BMW Dual Purpose Motorcycle. It was purchased used by the Milford Police Department in Delaware in 2006. The Bike about 600 miles on it when purchased and it was traded by an individual who rode it and upgraded to the 1200 Series. We purchased the unit, added the additional Police Lighting and used it to address problems in Construction sites, housing developments, and parks in the City. Construction has slowed considerably and the bike is no longer needed for its intended purpose so it is being sold. Bike is in overall good condition and has dings and scratches as would be expected in police service. Bike comes BMW Factory Saddlebags. Bike has been annually serviced locally and all manuals in our possession will be included with the unit. All Police equipment has been removed which includes the siren. Due to the removal of the siren, there is no horn at present. Buyer will have to install at their expense. 2 Small lights shown in rear near brake light are intact but inoperative due to being activated by the Police Lighting Switch. They can be wired as running lights/additional brake lights and the wiring in intact from the light to the power supply. There is not a connection from the switch to the power supply to activate these lights. Simple fix if you want the lights. Tires are 80%, all other equipment is operable and unit runs, shifts, and drives great. Unit is sold AS-IS with no warranty expressed nor implied. Unit must be picked up at 400 NE Front Street in Milford DE 19963. Buyer may arrange shipping at their expense and we will make unit available to shipper. We cannot crate the unit and we cannot disassemble it in any way for shipping. Buyer must make Full Payment and pick this item up within 14 days of auction close. We cannot accept credit cards and we DO NOT FINANCE SO PLEASE DO NOT ASK. Buyer MUST contact SELLER within 48 hours to give payment and item pick up plans. If there is no communication, the item will be re-listed on the first business day following the 48 hour period. As you can see we've been stiffed before and it is quite annoying. Please don't bid if you cannot pay or are unable to obtain financing privately.
