1968 Pontiac GTO rolling shell, with parts and interior. Bought the car in 1993, drove it to the drag strip several times a year from 1996 to 1999 and drove a little around town. Parked and disassembled 2000 or so. Car has been stored in heated garage since 1996. Had to put a number is the box above, so I guessed 100,000 miles, not really important since no motor or tranny are involved. 3.73 posi rearend from 1970 Cutlass, new clutch pack, Indian Adventures lower control arms and Air Lift bags (old by now). Spare axles, rear drums and park brake cables go with car. Front end rebuilt 1996 with PST Polygraphite bushings, ball joints, center link, tie rods, etc. Upper bushing sleeves ground smooth (to let front end rise at the track). Rear springs new, front springs original. No shocks on car, but I'll throw in a set of NOS Gabriel Red Ryders for the rear. 4 wheel manual drum brakes, manual steering box. Driveshaft included for Turbo 400 (the "medium" length tailshaft version). Crossmember is bolted in currently, but I do have the original rubber biscuit type mounts for it. Gas tank is new. Originally a non-AC car, but all the factory parts to install AC go with car - compressor, condenser, blower box, ductwork etc. All the wiring that was in the car goes with it, but you'll probably want to replace the underdash harness and fuseblock. Body isn't bad condition overall. Doghouse put back on and rough aligned to make transport easier - extra bolts and shims are included for after you paint it. Body filler around both rear wheel wells and some on drivers side door. Replacement quarters for a 69 go with the car, which could be cutup to use around the wheel wells. No need at all in my opinion to cut into the roof and replace entire quarter. Windshield has small crack in one corner, hole cut in trunk for a fuel cell back in the day. Car comes with original Endura front bumper, and chrome front and rear bumpers that have been blasted and painted. Was originally hideaway headlight car. Floor and interior speak for themselves. Frame is also solid and very good condition. Power drivers seat.
