This car was restored at 80,000 miles, a rebuilt 454 engine replaced the original 327 engine, and a 400 transmission were added. At approximately 86,000 miles the brake system was redone including all drums, rotors, cylinders, and master cylinder. High performance water pump , 7 blade clutch fan, aluminum radiator, electric cooling fans, and new alternator were also installed. This Impala is an original SS that can be used as a daily driver or a Friday night cruiser! Everything is in good working condition and the air conditioning unit pumps out plenty of cold air. Engine and transmission serviced in August and replaced manifold gaskets. The 454 engine came out of a 1971 El Camino and was rebuilt during restoration, and the 454 badges and super sport badges were added at that time.
