1979 Mercedes 300TD Station Wagon Low Mileage MAINE We are please this week to offer this vintage 1979 Mercedes 300td station wagon with a 5 cylinder diesel engine and 120,202 original miles, recently found stored in a garage, its been well cared for over the years, its original paint and body show almost no rust. We drained the old diesel and put in fresh fuel, new gas filters and an oil change and she started right up, we then replaced the water pump and rebuilt the vacuum pump and she was good to go, 3 speed automatic transmission in good working condition with a new fluid change, the blower for heat & air conditioning are in working condition, the power antenna goes up when you turn on the radio, manual moon roof with working power windows, FOUR brand NEW all season TIRES. Unfortunately the windshield has a crack, the estimate cost was $200 for a replacement, extra if a new rubber is needed. Maine inspection sticker expired in 2004 and hasn't been registered or driven on the road since. Remarkable condition for a 31 yr old mercedes and will make someone a nice second vehicle, she is not a sports car, these old tanks are known to last a million miles, plus cheap & easy to fix.
