1972 GMC CUSTOM 4X4 "Stepside" PICK UP TRUCK DETAILS: VINTAGE 1972 GMC Custom 4x4 "Stepside" Pickup Truck for Sale. Original Motor has been "UPGRADED" to a New GM Factory "Mr. Goodwrench" Crate 350 cubic inch / 300HP Motor with 600 cfm 4bbl carb. Very Strong & Smooth running Motor has appox 30K since new. New Premium Yellow top "Optima" Battery with Brand New Positive & Negitive Cables. Brand New Premium Starter. All New Power Steering & Alternator Belts. Has 2 Big "O" Big Foot XT's 33x12.5x15 Tires up front with appox 60-70% Tread. (Bought New for $500) Back Two 33x12.5x15 tires are Les Schwab "Wildcat" LT Radials with 30% tread. Nice 15 inch Aluminum Rims with 6 bolt/lug pattern. Truck comes with a Nice "Spare" Les Schwab 33x12.5x15 tire & 6lug Rim. Truck has a 4 inch lift Kit installed. 12 bolt "POSI"-Trac rear differential with Chrome Plate cover & DANA 10 Bolt Front differential. "205" Transfer Case. Automatic 3 speed Transmission with Tilt Wheel. Rear Sliding Window, Cargo Light & Fog Lights. Original Steering wheel was replaced with a "Grant GT" Rosewood style & it looks nice! Truck has the Optional "Custom" Headliner with Chrome Trim which is in Excellent Shape! Has the Factory GM Low Note Horn under the the Hood which works, but does not work at the steering wheel button when pushed. Truck Originally had AC, but most of the components have been removed over the years. Chrome AC/Heater lower Control Panel is in Excellent Shape, but is missing the upper knob to move the top lever. Upper center Dash AC Chrome Vent is broken, but have a New One to Replace it. New Part will go with Truck. This Truck Was Professionally Painted 1 time many years ago and is Good Condition with a some chips. Some small rust bubbles on rear outer wheel wells. Valve Cover Gaskets have cracked out and need to be changed as they leak a little bit. Has a newer Front Steering Stabilizer Shock and the 4 Rancho Style Gas Charged shocks which were replaced a couple years ago. All are in Good working Condition with NO isues. Original Jockey box Lid & inside liner are in EXCELLENT Condition and shuts/closes perfect. NICE ITEMS: Original Cigarette Ligher WORKS! Original 1972 Owners Manual Original Jack & Tools are behind the seat! Has a nice seat cover on it. Original GM Lap Seat Belts on each side that are in Excellent Condition & Lock, clasp perfect! All Glass is in great condition. Windshield has NO CRACKS OR BREAKS! Both Cab Side windows roll up & down with ease and shut tight, as do the Wing Windows. Original BLK Dash Pad is in Good Condition but has several heat cracks from the Sun. Both Sun Visors are IN PERFECT SHAPE! HAS POWER STEERING and POWER FRONT DISK BRAKES & Rear DRUM BRAKES. Tailgate is in Excellent condition with NO RUST Issues and shuts & locks Correctly with Factory Hook & Chain system. Original WOOD Bed is in EXCELLENT CONDITION!! Didn't find any major Rust Issues under the hood, cab, bed or chassis! "Inside" Bed sides has had a RUST INHIBITOR Applied many years ago which kept it in Excellent Conditon. Gauge Cluster is in Excellent CONDITION! All Gauges work Including the "SPEEDOMETER" & ODOMETER which is RARE! Mileage showing on Odometer is at 58350. Includes the Following: Newer Gas Shocks, Optima Yellow Top battery, NEW starter & NEW belts. Stock Exhaust Manifolds with True Dual exhaust & performance mufflers. Newer 3 inch Exhaust system has welded on Chrome tips which exit the rear bumper. Brand New spark Plugs, Wires & Fresh Air/Oil/Filter change & Anti-freeze. Completly "Greased" all zerts. ALL fluids underneith were just checked and filled if needed by a local 4x4 shop. Has a Pioneer CD AM/FM Stereo Player with 5 inch door speakers. 4x4 Hi-Low Manual lock-out hubs Work Great & shifts IN/OUT PERFECT! Trailer Tow Hitch & wiring plug in. Engine Bay is SPOTLESS!
