For sale is my 1995 Honda Del sol, white, S model (1.5 Liter, no power steering, 40+mpg), with 99,935 actual miles (and I'm driving it now so assume 100k) and a manual transmission. The Good: The transmission shifts smoothly into and out of each gear, never slips. The engine purrs nicely as it goes through the RPM's, good idle, no problems, no smoke, no noises. The car cosmetically for a 1995 is in good condition, there are a few very small dings and scratches and small rust spots. The interior is in excellent condition: no rips, tears, cracks in anything, everything inside the car looks almost as if it rolled off the lot the other day. The Bad: the steering wheel vibrates quite a bit when you go faster than 65 mph not sure what this needs to have done to fix, I was told by a friend its a ball joint but who knows. the driver side door needs to be opened from the inside, you can't open it from the outside, you can open it from the inside no problem and it locks but the handle on the outside doesn't seem to do anything. there is some rust, see pictures. The Bottom line: The alternator and battery were replaced about 8 months ago. I have religiously changed the oil (and not with cheap stuff, I always bought the high mileage stuff), cleaned the air filter and checked the fluids. The car has been well taken care of, never beaten. you could spend nothing on this car and it would be a great reliable point A to point B car, or you can spend some money and fix the cosmetic issues and you've got yourself a really nice car! Answers to some questions right ahead of time: I will not end the auction early. The reserve price is about 25% lower than KBB. If you want to come test drive it you're more than welcome to, call ahead of time. If you have a feedback or less than 5 contact me PRIOR to bidding or I may retract your bid. I reserve the right to end the auction early as it is for sale locally as well. I will assist in shipment of the vehicle but you have to arrange all of that. I will drive up to 30 minutes to pick you up from a bus stop, airport, car rental at no additional charge.
