Vehicle Detail

Well cared for every day driver with 158K original miles. Motor rebuilt at 117K. Well maintained and extremely reliable. I pulled the motor two years ago for cleaning, tuning and intake manifold hose replacement. New clutch and light weight flywheel installed at that time. New distributor, ignition and fuel injection tuning also performed. New professionally re-upholstered factory correct leather seats completed within the month as I had no intention of letting this car go without bringing it up to par. Original leather dash has some age warpage but no tears or cracks. Carpet was replaced throughout when I purchased the car in 2003 with OEM high quality carpet and mats. targa top was replaced with a NOS unit when i purchased the car in 2003 so it is in fantastic condition. Original tool kit in trunk with factory air compressor. Suspension has been upgraded to later factory Carrera torsion bars and sway bars with Bilstein sport shocks and shock tower tensioner. Very nimble and responsive. Motor pulls hard through the RPM range and runs perfect. It occasionally has slight hunting of RPM on cold mornings for about 1-2 minutes due to a tempermental cold start valve but I haven't found that they are available yet for replacement. I also believe the oil return tubes or left side valve cover needs re-sealing as I have some small intermittent driveway leaks. A/C system was replaced with high quality components (new compressor, condenser, blower, etc. however the system is due for a recharge. Timing chain tensioners have been upgraded to later pressure feed style when the motor was rebuilt and transmission syncros were replaced at 119K miles with a factory short shift kit installed at that time. Tires have about 15% left on the tread and are due for replacement soon. Super fun car with no excuses. All questions answered honestly and promptly. Selling so I can get into an older 911.
