Vehicle Detail

LOW RESERVE ON THIS 1970 1/2 Z28 Chevrolet Camaro. Original LT1, 4-speed car. Now has 402 Big Block with TH400 with manual valve body. Rear end is a 12 bolt with c-clip eliminators and 3.73 gearing. This is a Norwood built car on the 4th week of May 1970. Previous owner said the Z was stored in a container for 10 years and then purchased from Currie Enterprises a while back. The Camaro still wears its original (43 43 paint code) Citrus Green with Black rally sport stripes. Car still has clutch pedal set up to switch back to the original Muncie 4-speed. The rear end has the factory f-41 sway bar in place but has been lowered in the rear. Wheels are the factory Z28 5 spoke wheels. INTERIOR:Original interior was 723 Dark Green Standard but was recovered black standard. No tears in seats or headliner. Door panels are in good condition. Sail panels and rear side panels were painted black and showing some wear but could be touched up. Needs carpet. 5" Autometer Sport comp Speedo and Tach with shift lights in gauge cluster. I have original 150mph 8K Instrument cluster as well. Dash is a little warped but not too bad. MECHANICAL: 402 is mildly built with aluminum roller rockers, HEI, mild cam, quadrajet carb, Hooker headers, into dual turbo mufflers exiting the rear. Could use a tune up and better carb to let this big block breathe. Newer gas tank. Transmission seems to shift good. B&M Pro Ratchet shifter could use adjusting. BRAKES: Power brakes seem to be in good working condition. BODY: Needs Paint. Clear coat is peeling and faded. Four spots of rust that need attention are both sides behind doors near the rocker panel. Driver lower quarter (I have seen much worse). And a little bit of rust in the trunk but not worthy of a total replacement. Metal got pushed outward from a long screw attaching the inner sail panel. Floors, dash corners, pillars and rear window are all rust free. Overall not bad at all. ELECTRICAL: Headlights, taillights, blinkers, courtesy, and brake lights all work. Factory dash needs to be installed to make everything else work(Gas, water, Volt ect). There are Auto meter, gas, water, and oil pressure gauges as well. Water Temp and gas gauge are not working. This is an awesome opportunity to pick up a real Z28 that is running and driving and is a fairly easy restore or just drive as is. This car is a driver right now. This is one out of 8,377 1970 Z28 Camaro's every produced. If you have any other concerns or questions or would like to see a picture of a certain spot on the car, please feel free to message me. Thanks and good Luck.On Oct-03-10 at 09:01:54 PDT, seller added the following information: A buyer pointed out that I missed a number in the VIN. The VIN is 124870N549055.I forgot to put the 7 in there.Thanks.-Nick
