This is a very cool, fun to drive Jeep CJ5, grandpa to the Wrangler and JK . My buddy bought this Jeep to play around in the Pine Barrens, but then he got a fancy pickup to stay "warm and dry" -what a sissy! I bought her cuz shes a super strong runner. Jeep has the unstoppable straight 6 motor,3 speed trans, and the best transfer case jeep ever offered, the Dana 300. Great tc because it`s all gear driven, no chains and it can easily be re-geared with lower ratios ,and is also easy to make "twin stick" . Jeep is rolling on 32 " Mud King radials ( BFG tread design ) on white spokes. She also has a 4 spring 4" lift-no add-a-leafs or shackle lift here! Jeep has all the usual rust in all the usual places, but the frame looks good--even around the rear spring perches where they are known to rust-thru. Body has typical stress cracks in rear panel from the spare tire carrier flexing. Tires show some cracking between treads, I advise off-road use only , despite the fact that they look new, they are 6 years old. Again, she runs great! Trans shifts smoothly thru all the gears, tc shifts properly. The seats are in good shape and super comfy!! She sports a custom trailer hitch/bumper, and comes with a 5th white spoke wheel ,all the wiper parts, and all new steel brake lines!
