1988 M3 Hennarot (Red) on Nature (Tan) 3/1987 build date. It is very well sorted out and I have been using it as my Nice day daily driver. It is a blast to drive, and has been very reliable, always starting and running very well. A/C has been converted to 134A and is ice cold. It is a very very nice driver quality car. The car has 185,900 miles on the odometer, but an extensive "restoration / preservation" was undertaken in 2007 (over $21K in receipts included) by previous owner. The car has always been a Summer/Weekend driver and never seen winter use. Engine rebuild was done at 152K including all bearings, rings, head job, oil pump & chain, rod bolts, gaskets, hoses. An oil sump baffle was installed also. Bushings: engine, transmission, differential, suspension Guibo, center bearing, drive shaft lower (front) aluminum control arms. All weather seals and body moldings Plastic components near windshield wipers. Grills Emblems, Trunk lift cylinders, Seat hydraulic springs, Water pump, Radiator Tie rods & boots Plug wires, Coolant overflow tank, & Horns Body condition: Straight, seams even, paint is good (small stone chips on bumper,) no rust visible anywhere. Front air dam, bumpers, and wing (no cracks) are in excellent condition. Interior condition: Dash, headliner and rear seats excellent, carpeting & floor mats fairly new, front seat bottoms showing some wear, cracking. Engine/drive train condition: Engine runs strong, good drivability, no smoke, starts reliably. Transmission shifts smoothly. Brakes pads fresh, rebuilt calipers, SS brake lines. Original components - Electric sunroof - Power windows - Cruise control - ABS - Basket weave wheels BBS-minimal curb rash (5) - OBC (computer) - Aux Tool set in trunk, incl. jack - Fog lights Upgrades - Pete McHenry chip (original included) - A/C converted to 134a - Sparco front tower bar - H & R Springs - Bilstein shocks - Stainless Steel brake lines - Borla exhaust with SST Muffler - Klotz Racing Synthetic Oils - Body reinforcement components where applicable - UUC Short shifter - Hella headlamps H1 & H4 - Battery new 2009 - Falken ZE-912 205/55 all season tires ~ 7500 miles Known Issues - RH power mirror inoperable (Looking into this) - The previous owner told me that the sunroof rubs a bit on full opening (so I dont open it fully-there are no rub marks.) - Radio sounds scratches when volume is changed.
