here it is, i love this truck, just finished it t weeks ago, and planed on using it fro a shop truck, and it is so cool i drive it everyday. now i want to sell it because i cant fit the kids in it, so i purchaced a 30 sedan to build exactly the same. the body is a 39 chevy truck. there is no rust at all on the cab. it has a aftermarket firewal installed. doors are nice with a little rust at the bottom. hood is very nice, 3 fenders are new fiberglass, and the rr is steel. grill is brand new with light surface rust to match bumper and upper grill. running boards are original and in nice conditiom. everything inside and out has been painted satin emamel. not primer blace so this will not turn milky over time like most satins you see. for the frame i used a 2001 ford ranger frame. not streached or or shortened in and way. it has a djm lowering kit on it which includes tubular upper and lower control arms lowering springs and shocks. the rear is from a 2000 v8 explorer. it is a ford 8.8 with new 2.73 gears 31 spline axles and tru-track posi. the motor is a low mileage 4bt from a p-30van with a frod 4 speed stick trans, brand new clutch. for power i have added a wh1c turbo denny t fuel pin and a 3200 rpm gov spring. this thing is way cool. it will blow just the right amount of black smoke out the stacks under accel. the brakes are 4 wheel disc with hydroboost power and a new master cyl. the clutch is hydrolic with new master slave and line. has power rack and pinion steering. the bed is westerm red cedar, that has been water sealed. bed has 5 square tube crossmembers because it was made to be used. body has been chaneled 5" over frame, but retains stock floor height and stock seat. the channel was only nessary onder the seat and at the fireway. under the seat has a square tube seat and sheet metay and the lower seat in hinged for a large storage area. the floor has 1/2 steel square tube framework with sheet aluminum screwed to it. stacks are 5" with 4" flex and new 3" to the turbo no muffler. fuel tank is the stock ranger in the stock location. this truckdrives steers stops and handles like a 2000 frod ranger. runs amazing with the 4bt cummins and pulls off 17-30 mpg. wheels are 17x9 bullit wheels with new tires. 235 45 17 front and 245 45 17 rear. i would like to go 1 size smaller in the fromt because it rubs just a hair at full lock. also has brand new 12 circuit wiring harness. i had it to englistown this weekend and took peoples choice and got a 2 foot trophy. this thing gets so much attention. red lights. when i park it there is ususly 2 people checking it out when i come out. everywhere it goes it gets attention. and unlike most rats this thing was built to be driven. all welding is professional and was built by (perpetual motion) google it. there are a few things that need to be finished. turn signal and high beam indicators need to be installed in the dash. parking brake needs to be hooked up. has new parking brake shoes, rear cables, assembly is installed, and i have a new front cable, just need to make 2 cable stop brackets, and clamp the cable, and front turns need to be installed. wires are run, just havent figured out where i wast to mount them. i have the original bullets, with sockets glass and bezel. and the wier needs to be installed, i have a new motor assembly and it is wired. these might be finished before the truck is somd because it is only 2 hrs of work, but no guarentees. currently i have the original vin plate, but no title. some states will not need one. in pa the truck will need finished what i described, and it will have to go through enhanced instection. takes like 4 weeks and it will be isssued a new vin and title. i have a copy of the title from the ranger thay was used and a bill of sale from the motor and the body. this is all needed in pa. if you want to view the truck contact me. i would also consider selling the truck without the motor because i have not located one for my 30 sedan yet. i have 2 crated with original parts included. mostly stock interior stuff if you want to finish the interior. this truck is not far from being a street rod. minor body wirk paint and interior. this is exactly the way i wanted it. On Sep-28-10 at 18:07:48 PDT, seller added the following information: some of my spelling is aweful, i typed this up in a hurry with the intentions of proff reading it later and it got bids on it right away so i can not edit the description. the truck does not have door glass, i do have a rear glass, with new seal, and all of the interior metal panels, including door panels, i do have window regulators. i have new window felt kit. i did not originally intend to put glass in the truck, but after i have been driving it i changed my mind because i now want to drive it every day. it was the only thing on my to change list. the truck does have heat with a coppletely restored era correct heater. i also have the glove box door and the ash tray. there are 2 crates of parts that go with trucks just trying to think of some of the more important items. if it does not sell i will not sell it for less, i will go through pa enhanced inspection get a contructed vechicle title, drive it all winter, and re-list it in spring when the sedan is finished. i apoligize for the rough draft description, just always in a hurry. any questions contact me.
