Vehicle Detail
I am here on ebay selling my Honda Del Sol because i'm not really sure what it's worth. The main reason i'm selling it is because i'm going to be traveling 30+ miles to and from work over the next year. Although I think my Del Sol would be able to get me there and back, I want a 4WD car for my travels. Having said that, please do not contact me with offers. I have this listed as an auction and will only sell it to the winning bidder. It's in running condition and has been used since I got it to get me to and from work and play. It's not a new car and does have it's issues. I'll try to explain to the best of my ability the condition of the car, but ask that if you are serious about puttin an offfer in on the car that you try to have a look at it first. You are welcome to test drive it or see it in person before you bid, but know that the winning bidder agrees to purchase the car in the condition it is now. I will not be responsible for you not choosing to test drive the car. I will also not be responsible for any omissions or errors in what I have stated here, but I will do my best to make sure everything listed is 100% accurate. 1993 Honda Del Sol 1.5L 4-Cyl Automatic Transmission 203,000 Miles Drivetrain: FWD Alpine Single CD W/removable Faceplate VIPER 2-Way Remote Start/Alarm Power Windows Power Steering Tilt Wheel Removable top Kill Switch What's wrong with it: No - A/C Passenger door does not open from the inside Clear Coat peeling on roof/hood/trunk Typical Honda rust in rear wheel wells as well as a few other spots on the car. Spare Tire Iron missing. I've included my Craftsman Jack/tire iron in it's place. Spare tire = Good Driver window is a little slower then the passenger window but rolls up all the way and down all the way. It's only noticible when you're rolling both windows at once. Front tires missing hub caps. Transmission hesetates going from 2nd to 3rd gear when it's cold out. It's been doing this since I bought it and doesn't appear to be getting any worse. The remote start that's on the car works great to eliminate this problem in the winter. Just start it, let it run for 5-10 and away you go. Otherwise it revs high in 2 until you stop and go again. The tires are medium-poor condition and you'll probably want new ones for the winter, but i'll let you be the judge of that. The driver seat has a slight rip in it, see pictures. The floor on the drivers side is pretty worn. The middle console ash tray doesn't fit in there right, part of the tip is cracked and it just sits in there for now. I had the head gasket replaced two years ago and i've had no problems there. Exhaust has been replaced from the cat back about 2 years ago. All major work was preformed professionally. (I know a little about cars, but not enough to do anythign major) To the best of my knowledge it's never been in an accident or flood. I believe there was only one previous owner. Any questions, or if you'd like to have a look/test drive, the car is currently in Greenfield Wisconsin 53228.On Oct-03-10 at 15:34:39 PDT, seller added the following information:I just had someone test drive it and they noticed the brake light on. It does go on and off occasionally. I am guessing it's just the cable that needs to be tightened because that is the light that goes on when I put the e-brake on. Either that or the sensor is messed up. I've never had any problems with the brakes. I also don't know if I have the spare tire iron needed to jack the car up. (I have the original jack, but not iron or tools so it's kind of useless) Therefore i'm including a craftsman car jack that is way better then the one that the car comes with. As well as a tire iron. The spare is in good shape and I've only used it once for about 2 days/20 miles.
