'84 VW Vanagon:Runs really strong! Recently serviced with: - Tune-up with valve adjustment - New plugs, wires, cap and rotor - Fresh oil change with Valvoline 20w50 - Fuel filter Upgrades include: - Lowered by approx. 1" with shorter and stiffer H&R Springs and KYB gas shocks - 7 x 16 Audi wheels with brand new heavy duty sidewall tires - this combination of suspension changes makes the Vanagon really fun to drive. It handles worlds better than stock, although it does lessen ground clearance for off-road excursions and the ride is stiffer. - Fiamma awning - Euro-spec H4 headlight lenses, with 80w bulbs and relays - bright headlights with nice sharp cutoff - Panasonic in-dash CD player - Magnetic camping screens to cover the driver and passenger windows - Button-down screen to cover the rear hatch area - Velcro screen to cover roof hatch - Curtains to cover all windows - Extended latch that allows you to keep rear hatch adjar but secure to allow air flow while providing you with security while you sleep. - Internal kill switch, to disengage battery. Things to note: - Canvas is in good shape, other than a tear where it creases in the very back. You only see it when you pop the top, and we've successfully addressed this over the years by using duct tape. The tear hasn't increased in size at all since we've owned the van. - Boston Acoustics speakers probably need replacing. They clip at mid to higher volumes. - A/C is up to par with vans of this era (e.g.: non existent) - but you already know that right? - Van is also advertised locally.
