1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass SX455. 455cid v8, 2bbl carburetor, turbo 400 3 speed automatic transmission. 320hp, 505 ft lbs torque. Air conditioning, power windows, power steering, and power brakes. The vehicle runs and drives very well. The engine makes no unusual noises or smoke, and makes huge power. The transmission shifts very smooth, no slippage or hesitation. All the fluids and filters have been changed. It has a new carburetor, spark plugs, points, belts, radiator, front brake pads and rotors, new dual exhaust with flowmaster mufflers etc. The power windows work, but the relay must be manipulated. I have been unable to find a replacement relay at the local parts stores. The air conditioner works very well, but the blower motor is noisy occasionally. The horn, radio, and wipers do not work; I have not had any time to investigate why. All the lights work. The interior has been reupholstered at some point and is in very good shape. It appears to have had the headliner, door panels, and carpet replaced. The front and rear seals have also been recovered. The dash looks to be pretty much original, but has no cracks in it. The back dash needs to be redone and the carpet has some stains. The vehicle has very little rust in it. The right front fender has some rust in the lower portion of it as you can see in one of the pictures. The rockers, quarters, and floors are in excellent shape and appear to only have minor bubbles under the paint. I have also taken pictures of some of these areas. The chrome is in very good shape. According to the previous owner, the car was repainted and the interior was redone about 10 years ago when he inherited the car from his grandfather. His grandfather bought the car new in 1969 and kept it until he passed away in around 2000. Shortly after having the interior and paint redone, the grandson lost interest and the car sat for about 8 years until I bought it. I changed all the fluids, drained the gas, replaced the carburetor and radiator (both leaking), and got the car running. Put a set of used tires on it (was hoping to find a nice set of Olds Rally wheels) replaced the exhaust system and added flowmaster mufflers but kept the original trumpets. I have since driven the car about 500 miles and have really enjoyed it. I am losing my garage space and would like to see the car go to someone that can appreciate it. These are very rare cars with only about 6400 of them produced in 1970. The grandson had lost the title, and the only thing I have is a bill of sale. I do have a photocopy of the original CA title, it was never titled to the grandson in NC. If the car is going to a state where a title is not required, that may not be an issue. Otherwise, I'm sure you could obtain a bonded title for it. Vehicle is sold in as is condition with no warranty expressed or implied.
