1971 Honda Trail 70. I build two of these three years ago for my myself and father. Due to a new baby i must depart with them. I have two bikes listed on seperate auctions. This bike is a 1971.with orginal and aftermarket parts. The original 6V system has been converted to a 12V electrical system with blinkers, CDI, headlight, breaklight, neutral, light and blinker gauge lights. There has been a blinker switch added to the handel bars. Originally the bike had a top speed of approximately 22mph, but now goes approximately 40mph. The engine was replaced with a 4 speed Liflan engine 12V. 1 down 3 up shift pattern w/ NO clutch. My father rode this bike and he is 6' 180lbs. This bike has a PINK SLIP and is registered and street legal in California (which is extreamly rare) Both bikes have sequential plate #s. Tires are 3 years old.
