Up for bids is my 2005 Ford Mustang GT Premium with Shaker 500 Sound System. Thanks for taking a look! History: I bought the car 2.5 years ago with a limited budget. I really wanted a mustang and this was all I could afford. I purchased it from a dealership down in Chicago on ebay for $13,500. I knew the car had some problems like no trunk carpet or radio antenna. Small items that are easily fixable. What I didn't know is the car needs more work than I have time for. The Car: The car has a Brand New Duralast battery. She fires right up and runs strong. Shifts flawlessly through the 5 gears. This car has been garage kept but rarely driven. The car has a clear title and actual miles which is 32,384k. The tires are newer all the way around and the brakes are good as well. Problems: The airbag light is on and the dealership I bough it from told me "Just bring it to Ford and they will re-set it," however, there are no air-bags in the car. Are you getting the feeling they took me for a sucker? The alignment is off, due to the fact that the front tires are 1.25" and 1.5" back further than they should be. These numbers come from a frame shop that wanted 2k to pull the frame and re-align it. Its a mustang so from time to time your going to get on it at a start, I wouldn't recommend doing that right away, the car has rear wheel hop from what looks like bad shocks. A quick easy fix is there are no 6x9’s in the rear, I still don’t really know why somebody took these out. Next, there is no trunk carpet and the carpet on the passenger’s side is coming up, maybe somebody put a battery on there and it leaked, that was what somebody at autozone told me. There is no air control, you turn the dials and nothing happens. I'm about 50% sure that I didn't plug something back in when I took the radio out. (radio is still in it, I just removed it at one point) The power steering doesn't work well, it seems to be a pinched line, you can hear the pump and it slightly works. There are little nonsense things like missing antenna, scratched up vents, one is broken, the paint on the radio is smeared off? Missing shifter surround. Front and rear bumper need to be reworked or replaced, see pictures. Needs new mufflers or just run straight pipes as is. Conclusion: I have tired my best to explain the car in detail from what I can tell is wrong with it. With my career, I have zero free time to work on this car so I am cutting my losses and selling it. If you have questions please ask. The car is being sold as is with what I know is wrong with it. Any detailed questions that are not common knowledge by your average Joe will not be correctly answered by me. I am not a mechanic, body shop, or car guy. I bought this car 2.5 years ago with the intent to fix the seemly smaller problems and its sat in my weather proof garage ever since. I start it up and drive it from time to time just to keep fluids moving. If you have the time this car could easily be a nice winter project and give you a fun spring toy.
