I have a 1996 mercury cougar xr7 sports package for sale. Looks good and lots of fun to drive. Strong 4.6 V8 is legendary for reliability and performance, same motor as mustang. Engine has tons of mods on the market, anything that fits mustang will fit this engine package! If your looking at this car, you know what your getting cause you probably had one before, so I will keep this short! Car runs and drives excellent! Exhaust is true stainless steel dual exhaust with flowmaster mufflers, sounds strong! Rear end has 3:73 gears, auto 4R70w trans. Car is clean inside and out, Leather shows wear and tear for age, and body has some rust at the pass rear rocker. Car has lots of new parts, too much to list here. The only problem is the check engine light is on, needs cats. Car passed emissions 1 week ago and wont be due again till dec 2012. Everything works, even the a/c. I just spent $390.00 for new BFG tires among other things, so I wont sell it for $500.00, get what I mean? $500.00 due at auction end and the balance due after 3 days.
