Factory BLACK 1969 Plymouth RoadRunner This '69 Roadrunner was sold new at the Bill Brown Plymouth in Spokane, Wa. The car has only driven 72,344 miles since then and hasn't changed much since. I bought this Plymouth from the second owner in 1992. I restored the car between 1996 and 2000. The 383CI, 335HP engine is original to the car with matching numbers, and was rebuilt 400 miles ago. The original automatic tranny was changed to a Hemi 4-speed by the second owner. The clutch was replaced at the time of the engine rebuild. The dual exhaust was replaced with new at the time of the engine rebuild. The car was repainted 14 years ago to the original color "black velvet". All the original sheet metal is still on the car! The interior is original deluxe two-tone green the only flaws being a couple tears in the headliner. The bucket seats were recovered and carpet was replaced during restoration, but the rest of the interior was untouched. The original AM 8-track radio is in working condition. The rear axle is a 8.75" with a 3.23 gear set. The car runs and drives GREAT, and the motor isn't even completely broken in yet! Steering and suspension is like new. This is a very nice original car that is fun to drive and gets tons of attention everywhere it goes! This car is for the guy who wants to drive his muscle car!
