1998 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck. Great work truck, commuter, general transportation. I have used it as a work truck for about three and a half years with no problems. I think it must have been a fleet vehicle for auto parts delivery as I could faintly see an emblem on the door when I first bought it. This being said, mechanically it was taken care of by them and me but cosmetically the auto parts drivers did not respect it. There is a knife stab in the seat, they must have punched the dash vents where the heat blows out, the clear dash plate in front of the odometer etc. is cracked. There are dents in the front bumper, rear bumper and tailgate as well as a puncture wound in the left rear corner. There is missing paint on the front of the hood and visible rust. Tires look good, at least half life left. I have replaced rear tail light assemblies and battery this year. I have done regular 3000 mile oil changes. That's about it as far I have not had any problems with it. I do think the alternator pully sticks once in a while and may need to be taken to an alternator refurbish company (this area would be HUB Starter and Alternator) to make it so it doesn't seize after intermittent use - the alternator does function as it should in terms of charging the battery though. Feel free to come have a look at it and or ask questions befor bidding. I hate to see it go but it just isn't being used anymore as I bought a bigger work truck.
