For sale is a 1953 Chevy 4 door sedan. Original 6 cyl., 3 on the tree, 6 volt system. Odometer reads 50,154. Not sure if it turned over. All original except for new metal welded in trunk and a new Poly-tank fuel cell that needs installed. Will need body work but not a goner. Left rear rocker and fender area needs the most attention. Surface rust in various areas needs sanded and primed. Front and rear floors good; Removed interior carpet to inspect the floors; Frame rails good; Windows all there. Interior has front and back bench seats that are functional but you may want to recover. Inside door panels are there but also need redone. Engine did run before the original fuel cell was found to be rotted. Purchased new fuel cell but did not install until metal was welded in the trunk. Drive train and clutch working. Car was up on jacks for inspection and repair but since removed. Front grill removed. Still have the grill and another grill from a "54. Hopefully, the pictures are sufficient. Also have a manual on a CD-ROM for maintanace issues or just good old common knowlegde. Car will need to be picked up. My Son started the project but found little time to complete. Car belongs to my Son who is serving in the Military. Asked me to sell the car for him. Title is clear and in my name. Any questions, please ask!!! Also advertising in other classifieds.
